Lip Blush in Mesquite, TX

Your lips, but fresher — a soft wash of colour that defines the border and brings back the tint you had at twenty.

Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo that deposits a sheer, natural-looking tint across the lips and gently redefines the lip line. It is not a solid 'lipstick' tattoo: healed lip blush looks like your own lips with a healthy flush, evens out patchy or pale areas, and makes lips appear fuller without filler.

Every shade is custom-mixed at our Mesquite studio to your natural lip colour and skin undertone — from a barely-there nude to a rosy pink or a warm berry. Clients from across Dallas book it to skip lipstick, to correct dark or uneven lips, and to restore definition softened by age.

Serving: Mesquite, Dallas, Garland, Rowlett, Forney, Balch Springs, Sunnyvale, Richardson, Rockwall and Plano

Is lip blush right for you?

Good for: Great if your lips are pale, uneven, have lost definition, or if you simply want a fresh, put-together look without lipstick every day.

Not recommended: If you get cold sores, you must take an antiviral before and after the appointment (we will explain how). Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active lip filler swelling, or on Accutane in the last year.

What happens at your appointment

  1. 1

    Consultation & shade

We look at your natural lip colour and undertone and mix your custom shade.

  2. 2

    Lip mapping

The lip border is drawn and balanced so both sides match. You approve it in the mirror.

  3. 3

    The procedure

Numbing, then the tint is layered across the lips in soft passes. Around 2–2.5 hours.

  4. 4

    Healing

Lips look bold for 3–4 days, then peel and settle to a soft tint over 4 weeks. A perfecting session at 6–8 weeks finishes the colour.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does lip blush hurt?
Lips are more sensitive than brows, so we numb before and during the treatment. Most clients describe it as a tingling or light scratching.
How long does lip blush last?
Typically 2–3 years. Lips exfoliate faster than other skin, so a colour refresh every couple of years keeps the tint fresh.
Will my lips look like a lipstick tattoo?
No. Lip blush is sheer by design — the healed result is a natural flush, not a solid block of colour.
I get cold sores — can I still get lip blush?
Yes, with preparation. Lip procedures can trigger an outbreak, so you will need an antiviral prescription before and after. We cover this in the consent form and the consultation.
Can lip blush fix dark or uneven lips?
Yes — neutralising dark lips and evening out patchy colour is one of the most common reasons clients choose it. Some cases take two sessions.
